Probably, one of the most attractive mysteries of Alella wines is their main existence, in the middle of Maresme, product of small vineyards, sometimes hidden from the curious look of visitors, who for many years have been fighting for their survival in an admirable and unequal battle against the expansion of the great urban area.
This hasn’t always been this case, as Alella wines have a long history and a big significance in catalan winemaking.
The DO Alella is computed by nine wineries: Alella Vinícola, Alta Alella, Altrabanda – Serralada Marina, Bouquet d’Alella, Can Roda, Celler de les Aus, Joaquim Batlle, Raventós d’Alella i Roura.
Every weekend you can find an event to attend. For more information, visit http://www.enoturismedoalella.com/en/agenda/
